Allied Universal in Ronkonkoma, NY is seeking a Security Officer Warehouse (unarmed) to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Background histories considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including production areas and perimeter.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
