Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced for the Bohemia, NY site. The role provides flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $19.07 per hour with a schedule of DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, offering opportunities to progress to a full-time schedule if desired.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• All Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities through required reports and communication channels.

As a Security Officer Manufacturing Warehouse in Bohemia, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
