Allied Universal in North Billerica, MA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Visitor Screening to provide reliable customer service, enforce site procedures, and maintain safety.

You will work fixed Saturday and Sunday shifts with optional extra shifts through the scheduling platform, and you may advance toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, credentials, and authorized property entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and irregular conditions to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Screening in North Billerica, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:30 AM - 11:30 AM
• Sun 03:30 AM - 11:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
