Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer - Visitor Screening in Broomfield, CO. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry, and provide exceptional customer service at a manufacturing/industrial site.

The role offers weekend shifts with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. CPR/First Aid preferred; background check and drug screen required; a valid driver's license may be needed for driving positions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and respond to incidents.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor check-in and check-out, credential verification, visitor logs, and access requests in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and incident-reporting procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities, while providing professional assistance and directions to site personnel and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
