Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for visitor registration at a retail location in Denver, PA. The role emphasizes monitoring access points, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining secure daily operations.

You will work a part-time schedule with paid training and opportunities to advance through our shift-claim platform. The position requires age 18+ for unarmed roles, background checks, and compliance with all applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for the retail location, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned store areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activity accurately and timely using required reporting tools.

• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
