Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Credential Screening in WEST POINT, VA. You will support entry points, verify credentials, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned zones.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation for leadership review.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, or facility concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
