Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist in emergency response when needed.

• Maintain access-control logs, issue and recover visitor credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site-specific procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover visitor credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
