Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Visitor Registration in Pflugerville, TX to protect clients across industries. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and deliveries at a logistics and distribution site.

You will perform patrols, document incidents, and respond calmly to security concerns while following site policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws will be conducted.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Observe and report activity at gates, docks, and restricted areas; maintain access-control logs.
• Respond to access-control concerns and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

• Sun 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report truck, trailer, package-handling, and pedestrian activity at gates, docks, and restricted areas; maintain accurate access-control logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
