Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Verification to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. This night shift role offers a backup shift pattern Mon-Fri, with a pay rate of $16.32 per hour and a focus on safety, compliance, and teamwork within a dynamic security

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related authorizations, and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and visitors.
• Document visitor, vehicle, and access-control activity; maintain logs and report irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents following escalation and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, parking and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping-related authorizations, and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and authorized visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Document visitor, vehicle, and access-control activity; maintain accurate logs; and report irregularities, damaged access equipment, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
