Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional to provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while enforcing site procedures at an industrial location.

You will respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and assist with evacuations as needed. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED are required; prior security or customer service experience is preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, documenting observations, activities, and/or incidents according to site protocols.
• Support traffic and pedestrian control at the location, report hazards or maintenance concerns to the appropriate site representatives, and assist with evacuations, shelter‑in‑place events, and/or other emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
