Job summary

Allied Universal® in Lewiston Woodville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Patrol for a food and beverage location. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while supporting access control and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, reporting facility concerns, and following established reporting and escalation procedures.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
