Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, perimeter areas, and parking locations.
• Document daily activities, access concerns, incidents, and observations in required reports.

As a Security Officer Part Time Flex Shift in Wilkesboro, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Wed: 03:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Thur: 03:00 AM - 09:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and production-adjacent spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activities, access concerns, incidents, and observations in required reports, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure work environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
