Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access to the residential property by verifying authorized entry, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing guests according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As an Access Control Officer at a residential property, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, greet residents and guests, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
