Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to alarm activity while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving role, with the position based at our food/Beverage site. You will perform regular patrols, ensure logs are accurate, and follow site policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Qualifying experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is advantageous.
• Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Control access to the food production location by verifying IDs and credentials.
• Monitor entry/exit points, keep logs, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation procedures.

As a Security Officer Credential Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to alarm panel activity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the food production location by verifying identification, visitor authorization, contractor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
