As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
