Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Vehicle Driver in Columbia, MO. You will serve clients, patrol retail locations, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Daytime schedule with mid-day shifts; pay rate $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Vehicle Driver in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
