As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a visible presence and professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
