Opportunity: Overnight Security Officer/Valet Parker

Perform protective and enforcement functions during the overnight shift in a friendly and courteous manner to maintain a safe and secure hotel environment.

Your Growth Path

Security Supervisor/Manager – Director of Security

Your Focus

• Patrol designated hotel areas.
• Respond to disturbances and emergency situations.
• Maintain a daily activity log.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate all related information to hotel management.
• Access secured areas for authorized personnel.
• Complete incident/accident reports clearly and concisely.
• Escort guests to their rooms or assist with entry into their rooms according to hotel standards.
• Work towards increasing guest satisfaction scores.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Monitor TV cameras, if applicable.
• Perform bell person tasks and assist guests with luggage.
• Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet-parked vehicles courteously, using claim tickets for proper delivery.
• Handle packages and luggage, lifting up to 75 lbs., and ensure proper delivery using luggage tags and claim tickets.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel or related experience is a plus.
• Prior security experience desirable.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
