Opportunity: Overnight Security Officer/Valet Parker

Perform protective and enforcement functions during the overnight shift in a friendly and courteous manner to maintain a safe and secure hotel environment.

Security Supervisor/Manager – Director of Security

Your Focus

• Patrol designated hotel areas.
• Respond to disturbances and emergency situations.
• Maintain a daily activity log.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and employee incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate all related information to hotel management.
• Access secured areas for authorized personnel.
• Complete incident/accident reports clearly and concisely.
• Escort guests to their rooms or assist with entry according to hotel standards.
• Work towards increasing guest satisfaction scores.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Monitor TV cameras, if applicable.
• Assist guests with luggage and perform bell person tasks.
• Park guest vehicles and retrieve valet-parked vehicles courteously and promptly, using claim tickets for proper delivery.
• Lift and move packages or luggage up to 75 lbs, placing them securely for retrieval.
• Read luggage tags and provide claim tickets for proper delivery.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment following MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; hotel or related experience is a plus.
• Prior security experience is desirable.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
