Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific access control procedures and security policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records.
• Respond calmly to resident concerns and incidents, and handle access-related issues and emergencies.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns, access-related issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
