Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Upscale Gated Community in Laguna Niguel, CA. This part-time position offers a schedule that includes Friday and Saturday night shifts, with an hourly pay rate of $22.00.

As an Access Control Officer, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and assist residents, guests, and vendors while maintaining a welcoming residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns, access-related issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
