Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as Security Officer Unarmed Spanish Speaking Patrol in Pomona, CA. In this role you will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, and help deter security incidents.

You will communicate in Spanish and English, monitor access points, document incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Full-time, $19.00 per hour with weekday schedules.

Qualifications

• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees per site policies and emergencies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular patrols of the grocery retail location, including sales areas and perimeters.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Spanish Speaking Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly in fluent Spanish and English, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales areas, receiving docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
