Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver License Compliance in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will patrol a commercial real estate site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors. The role emphasizes clear communication, strong observation skills, and adherence to security procedures.

Shifts run Tue–Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as per laws.
• Background history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and management personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access, observe conditions, and report activity throughout the site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe and report unusual conditions, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
