Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer for an on-site patrol at a financial institution in Orange Park, FL. You will monitor the site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while upholding access control procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old for unarmed posts, and the ability to lift 20+ pounds. CPR is preferred; prior security or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial-services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain professional communication with site contacts, and support security-related operational needs as assigned.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Orange Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
