Job summary

Allied Universal in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed - Service Patrol to monitor and safeguard clients across industries. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and support incident response during overnight shifts.

This full-time role offers $23.00 per hour, with responsibilities including patrols, access control, and reporting incidents. A high school diploma and background checks are required; licensing and driver’s license

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas and perimeter areas.
• Monitor and report security incidents, hazards, access concerns and policy violations using established procedures.

• Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, hazards, access concerns, and policy violations using established reporting procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
