Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for roving patrol in Jackson, TN. You will protect client sites, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver courteous service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role pays $18.14 per hour with a Tue–Sat 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule. A high school diploma, background check, and per-location licensing are required; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, deter unauthorized activity, and monitor access points.
• Verify credentials and maintain security logs and reports as directed by site procedures.
• Report hazards or suspicious activity according to policy and procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns according to site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
