As a Patrol Unarmed Officer you will monitor areas, deter incidents, provide customer service, and report security concerns following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security situations calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and facility perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, documenting observations daily.
• Communicate incidents and maintenance concerns to site leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document relevant observations in daily activity reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance concerns that may affect site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
