Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial site in Jackson, TN. You will monitor entrances, patrol premises, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and reliable reporting while working with a team that values agility, innovation, caring for people, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial work areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, maintaining accurate logs and completing incident reports as needed.
• Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
