Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access to the property in accordance with site procedures; observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
