Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Route Mapping in Matteson, IL. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors while enforcing site security procedures and responding to incidents.

The role includes conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and preparing detailed reports. Full-time, night schedule, with access to our smart tools and growth opportunities within a technology-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related events, and other security-related observations.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
