As a Security Officer Full Time Fleet Readiness in Matteson, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and assist with visitor management and delivery coordination.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
