Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Operations in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
