Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Deterrence Patrol in Albuquerque, NM for a government location. You will monitor, patrol, deter threats, and provide excellent customer service while following post orders and procedures.

The role is part‑time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and scheduled on Tue and Wed from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Required are an Armed Guard Card, HS diploma, and 21+ years old; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed, and document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and potential threats at the location.

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
