Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report per protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities including interior, exterior, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting unusual activity to leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications in accordance with requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat09:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology, media and telecommunications facilities, including interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when assigned, and report unusual activity or conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
