Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Patrol Unarmed professional at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns while working with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
