Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer at a production plant in Gaston, SC. You will protect assets, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 21+ years of age, and adherence to background check and drug screening policies. It is a full-time position with daytime to evening shifts and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle entry records.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.

• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps support orderly operations and helps deter unauthorized access or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
