Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Customer Service in Prince George, VA. You will monitor facilities, provide outstanding customer service, and deter security incidents while supporting access control and daily site operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols and security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and departures according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
