Job summary

Allied Universal in Virginia is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for a part-time role with flexible, fixed shifts at a production site in Prince George. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

The role offers a pay rate of $16.44 per hour, a fixed anchor shift on Wednesdays 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to earn more while building

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Prince George, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
