Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Westlake, LA. This full-time role involves protecting client sites, conducting patrols, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will work 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at a chemical/petrochemical location, with a focus on safety, incident response, and compliance with site policies. Requirements include TSA TWIC, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check and drug

As an Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, unusual activity, and potential hazards, and report observations through established channels.
• Maintain accurate patrol, incident, and access-control documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
