Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, perimeters, parking areas and access points; report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and maintaining visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and shift logs with a professional presence in a fast-paced tech environment.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Interaction Patrol in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to support daily operations, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, maintaining visitor records, and reporting unauthorized access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
