Job summary

Allied Universal in Riverside, CA is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for on-site patrols at a manufacturing/industrial location. You will monitor entrances, deter incidents, assist employees and guests, and uphold company standards with professionalism and integrity.

You will complete daily reports, maintain a visible presence, and respond calmly to alarms or incidents. The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and teamwork within Allied Universal's caring, security-focused

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
