As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and driver entry procedures, and maintaining required activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic and support orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
