Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience or background in security is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen will be performed as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, offices, trailer yards, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe inbound/outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

DayTimeWed03:00 AM - 01:05 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, offices, trailer yards, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
