Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Service Representative in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will use computer or tablet tools to document activities and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
