Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a dedicated Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in New Concord, OH. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees, visitors, and deliveries.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual activity and policy violations to site contacts or supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, damaged property, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
