Allied Universal in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Recordkeeping to safeguard clients across industries. You will perform routine patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, monitor areas, and provide professional customer service, while communicating clearly with teammates and site leadership.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $18.93 per hour and a schedule that includes day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; report hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor/contractor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; follow emergency protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security observations; communicate findings to site leadership.

Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Recordkeeping in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a manufacturing and industrial location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and delivering professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with team members and site personnel while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess supervisory experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
