Pay rate: $18.00/hour. Typical night schedule Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with site-specific shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Arden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations promptly. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
