Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol for the Overnight Shift in Seattle, WA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location.

As an overnight unarmed officer, perform routine/random patrols, respond to incidents calmly, and document observations according to site procedures. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital areas and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist with visitor screening, directions, and access procedures while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
