Qualifications

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, report unusual conditions to personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate observations to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
