Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Miami, FL. You will patrol healthcare facilities, provide courteous service to patients and staff, and respond to security incidents with professionalism.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Drivers may be needed for certain roles.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or areas as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
